The importance of a movie is in the message it relays to the society and how it is relayed. A film is meant to entertain even as the viewer finds the moral lesson. In my opinion, ‘Kungfu Panda’, ‘Deadpool’ and ‘How to be single’ are the all-time best Box Office Movies.
‘Deadpool’ is a superhero film that revolves around a scientific experiment that left the main character, Wade, physically scarred and with supernatural powers that accelerate his healing. He cannot show himself to Vanessa, the lady he loved before his illness and is now hunting for Ajak, the guy who caused his current situation so that he can reverse the disfigurement. Finally, ‘Deadpool’ finds Ajak and kills him since there is no cure.The movie is exciting because it shows that love surpasses physical appearance. Vanessa still loves ‘Deadpool’ in his condition.
‘Kungfu Panda’ is a movie about a Panda, who dreams of being a ‘Kung-fu Master.’ This comes to be when he fulfills an ancient prophecy to be like his idols, the Furious Five. He gathers skills and knowledge through hard training and is able to protect his people from the evil Leopard. What makes the movie stand out is that the Panda, due to his physical nature, is least qualified for the task ahead. However, he is able to surpass that and become the hero who saved his people.
The ‘How to be single’ movie is a story about a woman, Alice, who breaks up with her boyfriend and moves to New York to be a paralegal. She becomes friends with a colleague, Robin, who introduces Alice to her carefree life. She gets into unsuccessful relationships and returns to Josh, but he has moved on and is engaged. In the end, Alice is in Robins apartment reflecting on her time being single. She later goes hiking to the Grand Canyon alone, something she has always wanted to do. The theme of the story is the process that a person goes through when herself. There are many fails, but they eventually get you doing what you should have in the first place.
