Students motivation in learning their heritage language.

Order Description

1) Review of literature and theoretical framework. section of the paper where researchers expand beyond the literature that supports the need for the research. In
this section, they go into detail on research previously conducted on their topics. They also examine each variable of interest in depth and discuss the background of
those variables. This is the section where they find a gap to study, which further justifies the research. Finally, they also frame your study around theory. If
inductive, they discuss some of the theories already established around their topics. If deductive, they choose a theory to test.
a. Example- The literature review of the student’s writing research included references on the purposes of writing, types of writing, how writing is determined to be
of quality, and other studies that used other writing interventions. Finally, this student found a theory of teaching writing, discussed the literature on that theory
and how few studies have examined writing with that theory in the context of her study. Therefore, she presented an argument for her way of improving student writing
(her intervention).
b. This section is usually few to several pages long, depending on the purpose of the piece.
c. a. Thoughtful, critical analysis of literature and local perspectives in relation to research problem/questions; coherent organization; clear author voice in
interpretation; uses five or more references and two or more local perspectives.
