Ok, so I’m going to try to explain this as best I can. Basically I have to Excel spreadsheets….One is labeled UPDATED and one is labeled ORIGINAL. One the original spreadsheet you will notice in column A that there are different section headers for different locations in the plant facilities. On the UPDATED spreadsheet those headers are gone. The UPDATED spreadsheet has been updated by color code and the dates have been updated. BOTH spreadsheets have the same information in column A. What I need is for someone to open the ORIGINAL and UPDATED spreadsheet simultaneously; and you’re going to update the ORIGINAL spreadsheet to match the color code and new dates of the UPDATED spreadsheet. So basically you will start at row 5 of the ORIGINAL spreadsheet, search and find (you can use the find & select tool in excel) that exact asset on the UPDATED spreadsheet. Once you find it copy that exact row and past it on the ORIGINAL spreadsheet. So once you’re done the ORIGINAL spreadsheet should have the same updates (color code, dates) as the UPDATED version, only difference will be the ORIGINAL spreadsheet has location headers in column A.
